This bill expands eligibility for telehealth services furnished by the Department of Veterans Affairs to veterans enrolled in the VA health care system, including services furnished at a veteran's residence.
The bill requires the Department to reimburse community providers for covered telehealth services at parity with in-person care in the same locality.
It directs the Department to establish connectivity support for veterans in areas without adequate broadband service, including loaner equipment and network stipends.
The bill requires annual reporting to Congress on utilization, wait times, and connectivity support awards for five years.
